"I was touched by Chris Volpe's shadowy landscapes. The delicate balance between forms and light are there at the edge of dawns and dusks, and he finds eloquent, painterly ways to bring a canvas to that point in time. These go past the point of mere representation, using the medium to whisper in black and punctuate in the warmer hues of light."

The Website is worth poking around on a bit. From their homepage: "At The Cloud Appreciation Society we love clouds, we’re not ashamed to say it and we’ve had enough of people moaning about them. Read our manifesto and see how we are fighting the banality of ‘blue-sky thinking.’ Recommended!
